작가는 이번 전시에서 자신이 그려온 정물화들을 수집하듯 한자리에 모았다. 각기 다른 순간 마주한 오브제들과 그 안에 담긴 감정, 기억, 상상들이 조용히 화면 위에 펼쳐진다. 화려하거나 특별하지 않은 사물 속에도 작은 이야기들이 숨어 있어, 마치 말을 거는 듯 관람자의 시선을 끈다. “무슨 이야기를 담고 있을까?”, “얼마나 오래된 물건일까?”, “나도 이런 걸 가지고 있는데…” 익숙하면서도 낯선 오브제들은 저마다의 색과 형태로 눈길을 사로잡고, 관람자는 그 속에 담긴 유머, 정서, 지나간 기억의 조각들을 떠올리게 된다. 작품과 제목을 함께 바라보며 작가의 의도와 메시지를 생각하는 것 역시 전시를 즐기는 또 다른 재미다. 작가는 이 전시를 통해 사물과 감정이 어떻게 연결되는지 탐색한다. 우리는 모두 어떤 물건 하나에도 추억과 이야기를 붙이며 의미를 부여한다. 정물화 속 오브제들도 마찬가지다 — 작가의 시선과 마음을 담는 동시에 관람자의 기억과 만나 새로운 이야기를 만든다. Still Life Collection – Whispers of Objects는 작가가 모은 그림들이자, 그 안에 담긴 사물들의 조용한 속삭임을 통해, 관람자의 기억과 상상력을 자극하는 순간이 되길 바라본다.

 In this exhibition, the artist presents a collection of still life paintings created over time. Each work quietly unfolds on paper, capturing objects encountered in different moments along with the emotions, memories, and stories they carry. Within these ordinary yet unique items lie subtle stories that softly speak, drawing the viewer’s attention. “What stories do they hold?” “How old is this object?” “I have something like this too…” Familiar yet unfamiliar objects, each with their own colors and shapes, invite viewers to recall humor, feelings, and fragments of past memories. Exploring the works alongside their titles adds another layer of meaning and connection to the artist’s intent. Through this exhibition, the artist explores the bond between objects and emotions. We all attach memories and stories to simple things, giving them deeper meaning. Likewise, these paintings reflect the artist’s gaze while engaging the viewer’s own memories to create new stories. Still Life Collection – Whispers of Objects brings together the artist’s works and, through the quiet whispers of the objects, hopes to spark the viewer’s memory and imagination.
